Why is my brand new record dirty?Updated a year ago

Vinyl pressing plants aren't necessarily medical-grade environments, and even new records probably need cleaned before they are played the first time. Replacing your vinyl probably won't solve the issue. We recommend cleaning your record with a specialized vinyl record cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth. There are also several vinyl record cleaning kits available on the market.
